Time to tie up some loose ends? Kknekki hair ties are from South Korea and happen to be my favourite ponytail holders. They are conventionally woven over rubber material and have a tendency to last quite some time without snapping. Curly girls typically have thicker hair so we know the struggle of hair bands that break, get over stretched out and gather hair too easily. I have only ever had one incident where the elastic started to peek out, but it was quite reasonable for the use I got out of it. There is one downside; the price. These hair ties sell at Nordstrom for $8 - $13 for a pack of five. However, I found them at Nordstrom Rack and stocked up on a bunch for only $3.97 a pack! They aren’t boring either. I found a bunch of fun and unique colour styles, which I love. They even have a more blonde colored one, which I have NEVER found to match my hair. Enjoy!

Believe it or knot, there is a brush out there that will change your life, curly girls. The Wet Brush has revolutionary bristle technology that allows bristles to be intelligent and flexible at the same time. Until I found the wet brush, I would ONLY detangle my hair with my fingers in the shower. Now, I can’t even imagine how I ever did that. The rubber non-slip handle allows you to use it in or out of the shower and on wet or dry hair (obviously only on wet hair for curly girls, unless you’re going for the fro look). The Wet Brush product line is also affordable. Combs and brush collections from the The Wet Brush range from about $7 to $30. The one I use cost me around $14. I was even able to scoop up a Lil’ Wet Brush for my niece at Marshalls the other day for $5, which is regularly $12. The brand even has a pet brush line for your pups. This brush really detangles my hair in just a few moments. It cuts my shower time down significantly. The bristles run through my hair with ease and because it doesn’t pull, it won’t rip out any healthy hair. We all know we aren’t trying to lose anything we don’t have to. Give The Wet Brush a try, it’ll save you time and money in the long run.
I will soon start posting to my twitter account all of your necessary curly girl tips and tricks! Follow now so you don’t miss it (:
Sleeping in all white sheets? Don’t forget that hotels are THE BEST place to stock up on shower caps for future hair mask evenings. They make it possible to sleep the night through while moisturizing curls and avoiding making a mess of your bedding. It’s also a fun thing to collect from new cities if you’re looking for a unique souvenir. I keep an entire box full of them in my bathroom. I just can’t get enough (;
